We just got back from a week of fun in California...
Grandma took us to the beach
Evan had fun playing in the sand
But he really didn't like the sand between his toes
On Wednesday, we picked up this guy from the airport! Bryant is back from honorably serving his 2-year mission in Michigan!
Evan and Trae became good friends. Evan decided he didn't like Bryant so much after B thought it would be funny to give Ev a wet willy-not so much.
Then we went back to the beach for a fun bonfire with Grandpa
Evan decided he might kinda like that sandy feeling
Then he face planted

The week went by all too fast. Thanks for being good sports and driving so far with a wee one in the back. He is soooo cute and I miss him. No one has said "whazzath" to me all week. How sad is that?!
Looks like a fun trip! I was cracking up at Evan's face plant. Ha! Poor guy!
Looks like a great trip! Poor Ev- hopefully he'll find a better way to be "one with the sand". I'm impressed that he was able to walk around in the sand at all! He must be all over the place on normal ground!
