Evan had the IV in his head removed yesterday! He has had an IV going since August 3 (21 days)! And he was on bili lights for a few days before that! So for the first time since July 30, Evan doesn't have any medical equipment! We finally have a "real" baby and are loving how easy it is to hold him now!
The stinkin' nurse that came and removed the IV didn't bring any adhesive remover-so Evan has a nice bald spot now where all the tape was holding the IV in. But if anyone can pull it off, it's Evan!

He looks fantastic and as nature will have it--his hair will come in the thickest right there. Enjoy the little guy and get over holding him 'cause there's grandparents on the way in a few weeks.
oh how sweet. i am so glad you can hold him as a "normal" baby. it is nice to not have wires coming off of them.
We are so happy for you...he won't have a bad hair day at all! He is too cute!!! HAPPY DAY!!!
Yay Evan! He looks great, even with a little patch. And in a few months, he'll have rubbed a bunch of hair off anyways. What a handsome little guy! We're so excited to meet him in a few weeks!
Yay that is great news for sure. He is adorable. Can't wait to meet him.
Exciting!!
Yeay! I'm so happy things are back to normal. What a cutie.
That's great news! I'm so excited things are back to how they should be now! What an experience...your family is so strong, especially that little Evan. He's such a fighter!
Sorry I didn't come say Hi to you at the temple dedication! I was trying to hurry and find a seat, there were so many people there!! See you all soon!

That is so great. Truly a cause for celebration. I know you just want to hold and snuggle them so bad when they are all hooked up and now you can! Hopefully all our germs will be gone soon so we can come and see him in person.
Poor guy got all his hair ripped out...that's ok, he's still adorable and I'm so happy it's easier for you to hold him.ro
yay! i'm glad he can just be a kid now! he is so cute. i'm glad i can see him through your blog! but i'm excited to see him at the blessing next week.
I'm glad to hear he's free of tubes now! I know it sucks being connected to things and not being able to freely move your baby around :)
