Family Pictures

I like to do pictures of my babies when they turn 1. And they always end up turning into family pictures too. So here are some of 'Audrey's first year' pictures:

Audrey's face here more accurately describes how she felt about getting pictures done. She did NOT like it.
But it didn't stop her from walking away and then looking over her shoulder for this cute shot!

We were bribing both of them with Smarties at this point!

We're done!

Sunny Day

A lunch picnic chased down with ice cream cones from Grandma

A 90 degree day also requires some water to splash in

We're excited for many more warm, sunny days!

Valentines Fun

We had a really fun Valentine's Day this year. I made sure to have a few festive projects for Evan to do leading up to the big day. One nice sunny day we painted hearts with marbles.
The kids decorating heart shaped glasses with hearts. Audrey mostly just threw the little heart stickers all over the room.

V Day morning I made the kids pink heart pancakes with chocolate chips. Made this guy happy...
And it looks like Audrey enjoyed them also!
Audrey thinks she's so funny when she has food hanging out of her mouth...yep, that's my precious little girl!
After lunch we headed out to enjoy the nice weather and dig up Grandma's flowers.
And it was a great day for bubbles!

Sure do love all 3 of my cute Valentines!

And here are a few non-Valentines pictures.

Evan and Cougar engaged in a friendly game of Guess Who. Don't worry-Evan won. Cougar should know by now that Evan is always Chief.
First few attempts at ponytails on Audrey
We haven't done it since. She doesn't like to sit still and her hair is so fine that the rubber bands don't stay in very long. And she's in that darling mullet stage.

It's Been A Long Time...

I know. It's been a really long time. But blogger told me I'd run out of storage space and I was not about to pay for it. I tried a few things to get it to work, but nothing helped. Then I tried it again today and now it works! So here's some of my favorite highlights from the last few months.

December:
Picking out a Christmas tree at Home Depot. And yes my son did wear that Rudolph nose around the whole time.
We visited the LA Temple to see all the Christmas lights

Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to the ward Christmas party while we were out of town for Reed's company holiday part. It was a PJ party. I don't know why they couldn't have chosen a different pair for Evan...lol
Audrey met Santa...it's so cute when that bottom lip comes out!
Before church on the Sunday before Christmas. And even though Evan's eyes are closed, this is the best one we got!

And a few from Christmas morning

Then it was January. And this big girl turned ONE!
She got some fun new toys!
Getting ready for the birthday song
 Loving her cake!
 Being one sure is fun!

The rest of January was full of sick kids and doctor visits. And now that February is here, we're getting excited for Valentine's Day and Reed's birthday!

10 Months

Evan and Grandma got all these pinwheels out a few weeks ago and made a little wind farm. I thought they'd be cute for Audrey's little 10 month photo shoot.

And of course big brother doesn't like to be left out. Such a handsome boy!
And today at about 10 1/2 months, Audrey took her first steps! Hooray!

Fight On

I have the greatest husband. He's the best. He knows I really like USC football. I know he really doesn't. So I was a little surprised when on Saturday morning he proposed that we head out for the game that afternoon! I've always wanted to go see a game there, so we decided to throw the kids' schedules off and go. We had a lot of fun and the kids were pretty good. Reed hasn't changed his opinion about USC, but he enjoyed being there and experiencing it. Maybe we'll try it again sometime without the kids...

Reed & I have now been to both Coliseums! I prefer the one in Rome, but this one was really fun too! And I love Evan in this picture!
It was a blow out game. USC beat Colorado 50-6, but it made the tickets affordable!
Thankfully, both kids fell asleep for a little bit
Love Audrey's hair in the one!
 Enjoying the game
We walked around the front of the stadium before we left to see the torch lit. Pretty cool!
Evan's favorite part of the game was the Goodyear blimp!
