Stewart Falls

We are loving the warm weather we've been having here lately, so we decided to hike Stewart Falls yesterday. It was the perfect day for a hike! It was a pretty easy hike and it felt so good to be up in the mountains. The air was so fresh and it smelled so good up there! Here's a few pictures from our hike:

Once we got to the falls, we had a nice little picnic lunch! It was wonderful!

And a quick baby update, we started our 3rd trimester last week! I can't believe it! Reed has been busy finding us some good deals and we bought our travel system (thanks for your input!) and crib this week! The kid is a kicker and we love to watch him make momma's tummy move! Here's a picture from week 28:

And here's the back of the onsie Baby will be wearing to volleyball games next year-I'm so excited!

HELP!!

This post is for all you seasoned parents out there-we need your help! Now that volleyball season is over (sad story, they lost to CSUN in the MPSF tournament quarterfinals), we're getting into baby mode. So right now we're looking into "travel systems". So if any of you have a strong opinion about any of them in particular or about a brand, let us know! 26 weeks down, 14 to go!

Quick Update

So I realized this week that our baby's due date is exactly 4 months from Saturday! When I tell people he's coming in August, that seems really far away still. But 4 months seems kinda soon! And then when I realize we haven't done any baby stuff yet, it seems really soon! But I'm sure it'll take it's time getting here...

The regular volleyball season is starting to come to a close. We have our last home games this weekend against #1 UC Irvine (Thursday and Friday nights at 7)! Should be some pretty exciting volleyball. Then the team finishes off the season on the road against Stanford and Pepperdine before starting post season stuff. Hopefully the Cougars will finish off their season strong so they can host the first few rounds of the playoffs so they will be in Provo for more than 2 days during finals!

Lately...

We've been pretty busy around here lately. Volleyball season is in full swing and it really keeps us on our toes. Reed is working very hard to be a good STUDENT athlete, and I'm so proud of him. It's hard to do well in school when you travel 3 weekends in a row. I can't wait for some home games!

I'm so thankful for my parents that flew me down to stay with them and go to Reed's games in California this past weekend. The team played #1 CSUN and it wasn't pretty. Thursday night they lost in 3 without much of a fight. Friday night they played much better. But due to some bad calls, they lost some close ones in 3. So it was a bummer volleyball weekend. But it was so nice to get out of cold Provo for a few days. It was a pretty low key and quick visit, but I loved being able to spend so much time with my parents. We got to spend a lot of time together in LA traffic! Thanks mom and dad for a great visit!

Other than volleyball, not too much else is going on. We have our next dr appointment next week along with an official ultrasound (it'll be our 4th so far!). The most exciting news is that I felt our little guy move today! It was pretty awesome once I realized that's what it was. Almost half way there-we can't wait to meet our son!
There's no hiding it now...
